Talk about Needing Help
Ok I heard about this and had to write about it. Yesterday in California, A man was arrested for allegedly stealing an ambulance that arrived to help him after he crashed his own car. Thats right, he apparently needed help the EMT’s didn’t offer..lol
The California Highway Patrol reported that a 20-year-old man had drove his Honda Accord off California State Route 299 and over an embankment into several trees. I dont know if the guy got himself out of the trees or what, but when emergency personnel arrived with the ambulance, the suspect he refused to be treated. Somehow in the chaos that must have been going on, the suspect jumped behind the wheel of the ambulance and sped off with it.
Highway Patrol officers on the scene must have been shocked, but they gave chase and after a short and strange chase scene that must have confused fellow drivers and other on-lookers, managed to disable the ambulance and apprehend the driver by laying spikes on the road and blowing the tires off the ambulance. (Of course Tax payers will be paying for that too.)
The man was finally arrested and booked into jail on suspicion of evading the police, (I guess they weren’t sure yet?) stealing an emergency vehicle, (which must be worse than simple grand theft auto). and driving under the influence of a controlled substance (presumably before he stole the ambulance.)
What can I say People, When you need help.., You need help…
